ServiceNow Developer

About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our growing ServiceNow delivery team. As a developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow applications and services for enterprise clients across various industries. You will work closely with architects, business analysts, and customer stakeholders to implement solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, notifications, and flow designer. ∙ Work on out-of-the-box and custom modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, ∙ CSM, or SecOps based on project needs.
- Implement and maintain Service Catalogs, Workflows, SLAs, and Approvals. ∙ Build and maintain custom applications using scoped apps and the ServiceNow Studio.
- Develop REST/SOAP integrations, import sets, and MID Server configurations for external system connectivity.
- Work with Service Portal widgets, pages, and theming to create rich user experiences (if applicable).
- Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, unit testing, and UAT support. ∙ Document solutions, technical designs, and implementation approaches. ∙ Follow platform governance, version control, and coding standards. ∙ Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and bugs effectively.
Required Skills:
- 3–6 years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer,
- Notifications, and Client/Server-side scripting.
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow (especially for ITSM).
- Experience working with ServiceNow Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, ∙ LDAP, SSO, MID Server).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Studio, Scoped Applications, and Update Sets. ∙ Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and version-controlled
- environments (e.g., Git/SVN).
- Working knowledge of Service Portal is a plus (optional for non-UI-focused roles).

- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS – ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or ITOM) ∙ Certified Application Developer (CAD)
